When Ko Hong Seok or you can call him Han was at about 10 years old, he had some kind of skin problem.  He went to see doctor for check up, and then doctor found out something else besides the skin disease.  Doctor said he will suffer the lost of eye-sight by age of 40.  When he was 17 years-old he started to feel the beginning of poor eye-sight.  Just within 2 years, he experience the rapid lost of his eye-sight.  By age of 20, he has to stop going to school because he was legally blind then. 

He couldn't get a job, just helping people here and there, and most of the time, stay home to help out his mom, who owns a Korean Traditional Clothing store.

At age of 28, he discovered balloons.  He found out from a cultural flier of a Department store offering balloon twisting classes.  His teach is Ms. Kang You San, a very famous balloon instructor in Korea, and a Qualatex Korean Approved Instructor.  Since then, he fell in love with balloons, and balloon gave him a "new life."  

Born in 1972, in the last 8 years, he has published 2 books, taught many about balloon twisting in Seoul.  He won second prize of balloon twisting in Japan Balloon Convention one year.
